Can you introduce yourself and your background?
I am 24 years old, and I was born in Tongling city (in Chinese: 铜陵) in southern Anhui province in China. I graduated from Anqing Teachers University (in Chinese: 安庆师范学院) with a degree in Applied Psychology and obtained the National Certification of Psychological Consultants. I first worked at JN Union, an IT company specialized in China’s information security market. Before joining Daxue Consulting, I was course consultant at VIPABC, an online English learning platform.
What are you doing for Daxue Consulting?
As an administrator, I am responsible for office maintenance and managing office supplies, the library, and the fixed assets. I deal with various formalities to help our foreign employees with the visa documents and provide assistance in posting recruiting adverts and implement initial screening.
What recent news did catch your eyes in China?
I am very interested in environmental protection and energy saving products. I have recently read that Chinese bike-share startups Mobike （摩拜单车）and oFo (ofo 共享单车) had raised significant investments for further expansion. On 26th of September 2016, China’s ride-sharing giant DidiChuxing （滴滴出行）said it had invested tens of millions of US dollars in oFo, while Mobike got US$100 million from investment companies like Sequoia Capital and Hillhouse Capital.
Any hobby in Shanghai? Where would be your first choice for a dinner or party in Shanghai?
I like doing sports when I have free time, watch movies and sing in the KTV with my friends. My favorite KTV is Haoledi and King of Party. My primary hobby is traveling, as I like exploring new places and cultures. I have lots of favorite restaurants. For example, for a hot pot, I would go to Chongqing Gao Laojiu Hotpot, Gelaoguan Chongqing Bullfrog, and Fish head, Hai Di Lao Hot Pot. I also like Magic stick spicy.
