The Taiwan-based Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (SKM), a leading department store chain, opened its first store outside Taiwan, in Beijing in 2007. As one of China Central Place buildings, Shin Kong place is located near two luxury hotels. the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott, and surounded by three 5A office buildings and international apartment complexes. Located next to sister high-end retail establishment Shin Kong Place, China Central Place Shopping Center offers another luxury shopping experience. The five floor building features China’s biggest Versace Store and gives ample shopping space for big names like Baume & Mercier, Brooks Brothers, Canali, Feraud, Loro Piana, Missoni, Moschino, Testoni and Tommy Hilfiger.
It is principally a luxury shopping mall for the high-end customers. The brands in it are very expensive but with high quality.

Opened in July 2009, Beijing Scitech Premium Outlet Mall is located within the prestigious villa area of xianjiang bei road in chaoyang district. It is the preferred shopping destination for premium brands at discounted prices. The outlet contains an impressive gallery of top-tier luxury brands such as Armani, Bally, Burberry, Coach, Dunhill, Ermnegildo Zegna and Max Mara, as well as showcases a wide selection of popular sports and leisure brands like Calvin Klein, Ports, Adidas, Nike, Puma, etc.
