Gentleman Agency and Daxue Consulting have drawn up a new report on the evolution of the food & beverage consumption in China.
What are the main sources of information, the selection criteria, what about the consumption of imported products or the shopping online, how F&B consumption is evolving in China… Daxue Consulting and Gentleman Agency have surveyed a panel of consumers in Shanghai and Beijing. Results of this survey have been presented during a conference held in Shanghai, and highlight many key findings and insights for western companies and entrepreneurs in F&B. Some of the key points are:
- the use of the search engines as main source of information, as they overcame traditional channels and are still strongly favored over social network and mobile APP;
- the increasing confidence toward online purchase;
- the confidence toward imported products, mainly due to their safety image;
- France and U.S.A are the favorite country for importation of food.
