Over the year, there are more billionaires in China than in any other economy globally, despite China’s recent crackdowns on the tech sector – such as Livestreaming and gaming. According to Forbes’ annual World’s billionaires’ List, among the 236 new billionaires, 62 of them are from China, with almost a third of them from China’s tech industry. This map gathers the top 10 wealthiest people in China as of 2022.
