Jiuguang department store is a joint venture between Chongguang Department Store, belonging to Lifestyle international Group and Jiubai Group of Shanghai, China. It opened its flagship store in Jing’an District Shanghai in 2004. It is located on the West Nanjing Road. And baecause of a convenient transportation system, they can attract many customers.

For now, there are over 500 domestic and foreign brands in Jiuguang Department Store. Among them there are about 10 foreign bands which are first in China. A lot of world-class brands can be found in Jiuguang Department Store, for example, the largest Burberry flagship store, the first Tiffany store in Shanghai, Dunhill, Bally, the first Thomas Pink in Asia, Agnes.b, Callaway, Jean Paul, Gaultier and the largest Japanese bread store Yanazaki. On the first floor, there are many world famous brands such as Calvin Klein, Omega, Vertu, Coach, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren and so on. On the second floor there are Weekend Maxmara, Folli Follie, Guess and so on. Jiuguang Department Store focus on the high-end customers who have high revenues and tend to buy high quality and famous brand goods.

Plaza 66 is a commercial and office complex in Jing’an district Shanghai. The shopping mall has 5 levels with a total area of over 50,000 square meters. It is usually regarded as the leader of the fashions in Shanghai. Many fashion brands have chosen Plaza 66 as the location of their flagship stores in Shanghai. The brands in Raffles include Levi’s, Swatch, Haagen-Dazs, Lacoste, Esprit, Sisley, GUESS and so on. Its targeted segment is medium revenue and showing a good taste for fashion.

The market in China is accessible and large enough for different shopping malls ranging from the luxury ones to the medium ones.
