Zhengzhou (郑州) is a city on the south bank of the Yellow River (Huang He) in China. It is the capital of the Henan Province. Located in the center of the country, Zhengzhou is now a major transportation hub and rapidly growing city. To travelers, Zhengzhou is a convenient starting point to explore a series of Chinese cultural sites such as Kaifeng, Luoyang and the Shaolin Temple.
