In times of the pandemic when traveling abroad is less accessible due to lockdown measures and travel restrictions, many Chinese people leveraged this opportunity and turned to red tourism and ecotourism – exploring locations with significant historical pasts. Among these, road trips have become a popular method of traveling. We found the top ten road trip destinations in China based on Mafengwo, a Chinese version of TripAdvisor.
