Chinese laser printer market reaches about $5 billion in 2010

Although the overall global printer manufacturing industry is struggling to overcome competition from electronic media, there is still a large growing market in China. Although there is a big market opportunity for printer manufacturers in China, companies must keep in mind that the printer industry in China will likely decline in the future as electronic media becomes more widespread. Due to developing technologies, such as 3D printing, and the development of broadband and internet infrastructure in China, printer companies must look to innovate or they will likely struggle in the future.
